Sales Analysis on 11-12 Meters Bus in the 1st 10 Months Ⅰ

www.chinabuses.org: According to statistics from Chinabuses.com bus and coach industry research center, sales volumes of 11-12 meter coach were 12,217 units, much more than the figure of 10-11 meter coaches (6,328 units) and 9-10 meter coaches (3,982 units). We can see that its market share is 54.23% in sales of 9-meter above coaches. We can find by further research that 11-12 meter coaches are mainly undertaking intercity passenger transportation between prefecture-level cities and provincial capital etc over 200 km, while 11-12 meter public transport buses are the mainly carriers for city passenger transportations.  Later we will analyze 11-12 meter coaches on sales volumes, buyers, configuration and price etc.

We can draw from the table that sales volumes of 11-12-meter coaches from Jan. to Oct. were 12,217 units, taking 15.32% of overall sales, which is also the biggest market share in coach’s products. In the meanwhile, sales volumes decreased about 13.5%, 4.1% more than the average down. So we may say 11-12-meter coaches is dominating highway passenger vehicle markets and it decreased a lot.

　
b. Analysis of sales volumes of 11-12-meter coaches and 11-12-meter city buses

The figure in the first ten months of 2009 is 12217/8610=1.42, that is the radio between 11-12-meter coaches and counterpart public transport buses, while the figure in 2008 was 14127/11707=1.21, so we can also say that the proportion coaches is rising.
