The sales goes up 58.72% in Jan.-May 2010 than 2009. In lengths, it shows growth in all lengths, apart from the extra large-sized buses, which indicates the influence of positive national economy on bus market still goes on, but the growth range is comparatively small in May compared with that in first four months. The biggest growth shows in 5-6 meter light bus (183.03%), 11-12 meter large-sized bus (84.5%), 7-8 meter (65.0%) and 10-11 meter (32.9%) and then 9-10 meter (7.64%). It indicates that the rural passenger transport market for 5-6 meter bus has opened and owned great potential. Meanwhile, 11-12 meter large-sized bus is still the one of the main resources for the growth of bus market, and it is unavoidable for the shrinking of the extra large buses.

(a). The sales increases 58.7% in Jan.-May, less 3 percentage than that (61.9%) in Jan.-Apr., 2010. It tells that the growth speed of Golden Dragon Bus obviously slows down in the first five months and Golden Dragon Bus ranks the fourth among Yutong, King Long, Golden Dragon and Higer in the respect of sales growth.
(b). The sales of buses grows in various lengths for Golden Dragon, in particular, 10-11,11-12,9-10 and 5-6 meter except 7-8 meter, but the base is all comparatively small. In the meanwhile, the growth rate of 3.5-5 meter buses is smaller than that of the industry, which is regarded as the main models. Therefore, the general growth range of Golden Dragon is only basically in the same level with that of the industry.
(c).The product structure for Golden Dragon is not good and the proportion of large-sized buses is not big. The sales of the buses with the length below 8-meter accounts for 66.88%, less almost 7 percentage than that (74%) in the same period in 2009. It tells that it has improved the product structure; however, the overall ability to gain profits is still not strong.

The sales goes up 69.1% for seat buses in Jan.-May 2010, less almost 2% than that in Jan.-Apr. 2010. In lengths, the sales only reduces in extra large buses and 9-10 meter buses, while all increase in other lengths, especially 5-6 meter, and then 11-12 meter, 8-9 meter 6-7 meter and 3.5-5 meter. It indicates that the sales increasing of seat buses is main factors for the growth of the general bus market in the first five months in 2010 and the influence of national macro economy on seat bus market is great in Jan.-May 2010.
