Market Analysis of 11-12-meter Coaches Jan. to June 2010 ⅠPart 1

www.chinabuses.org: According to Chinabuses.com industry research center, 11-12m coaches mainly bear 200 km above transport between prefecture-level cities, counties and prefecture-level cities, and inter-provincial passenger transport. We will analyze 11-12m coaches from Jan. to June on sales, flows, configuration, and prices. 

65,334 coaches were sold till June this year, 12,521 of which were 11-12m coaches, taking 19.1% market share, the biggest in all lengths. Sales of super large buses were 240 units, 5,200 10-11m coaches, 2,179 9-10m coaches, 7,798 8-9m coaches, 10,830 7-8m coaches, 11,732 6-7m coaches, 10,388 5-6m buses, and 4,686 3.5-5m buses. Sales of 11-12m coaches took 62.2% market share on 9m above large coaches. We can find that 11-12m coaches are the main products no matter in large coaches or the whole coaches markets.

1. Comparison of large coaches between this year and last year

We can see that:

Sales of 9m above large coaches in the first half this year increased 63.2% over last year, and 12,521 11-12m coaches were sold, and they were the most sold coaches, taking 62.2% among large coaches, up 90.2% over 2009. And they took the biggest share on 9m above bus markets, and we can see that the market capacity and growth of 11-12m coaches are the highest. 

2. Sales analysis of 11-12m coaches and 11-12 city buses

We can see from above that:

Sales ratio of 11-12m coaches and 11-12m city buses were 20123 in the first half year of 2010, and the figure was 1.807 last year, up 0.316 over last year. We can see the proportion of 11-12m coaches are getting larger, and they are the absolute main body of 11-12m bus products.
