Summarize:www.chinabuses.org: According to statistics from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), sales of China buses (complete vehicles) amounted to 288,900 units, up 33.57%, from January to October, 2010.
Sales of large buses grew the fastest, 45,800 units were sold, up 56.90%.
197,900 light buses were sold, up 31.89%.
45,300 medium buses were sold, up 22.03%.
Sales of large buses were more than sales of medium buses, and there were more medium buses sold in the first ten months last year.

Nearly 70% of the buses are light buses, but their ratio has decreased to 68.50% from 69.37% last year, and percentage of large buses increased to 15.84%, up 2.36% over last year. 15.66% of them are medium buses.
32,400 large buses have been sold by Yutong, Higer, Kinglong, Golden Dragon and Huanghai Bus in the first ten months, up 67.45%, which is higher than the average growth speed of large buses markets, 56.90%. Market share for the top five bus builders were 70.84%, 4.46% higher than the percentage last year.
And sales of Higer Bus increased by 136.21%, the fastest growth among the top five large bus manufacturers. And sales of Kinglong Bus only increased by 28.56%.

Most medium buses were sold by Yutong, Higer, Kinglong, FAW Toyota, and Golden Dragon, and their market shares were 71.80%, up 2.43% over last year. Their sales growth were 26.31%, higher than the average growth in China medium bus industry, 22.03%.
Sales of Yutong Bus increased the fastest, up 54.79% in the first ten months; while sales of FAW Toyota decreased by 0.88% to 4,152 units.
Top sellers of light buses were Jinbei, JMC, Nanjing Automobile, Beiqi Foton, Golden Dragon, as many as 167,200 light buses were sold by the five bus builders from January to October, up 32.59%, and their market shares were 84.46%.
Sales of JMC increased the fastest and 41,400 JMC light buses were sold, up 58.85%; and sales of Beiqi Foton grew the slowest and 20,000 Foton light buses were sold, up 12.02%.
