From above data, it is seen that
1. The unit prices of 11m~12m buses in the top ten big cities are increasing year by year, which shows the purchased level for 11m~12m buses is increasing.
2. The 11m~12m buses' average unit prices of Shanghai City in Jan. - June in the past six years is the biggest, which is RMB 411,200. The second one is Shenzhen City, which is RMB 403,330. The others are less than RMB 400,000.
3. For the unit prices of 11m~12m buses in the top ten big cities, they are increasing year by year. But in 2010, the unit prices suddenly rise by RMB 20,000~ RMB 30,000, which is mainly the result of national policy on July 1st 2008 on emission standard transfer from National Ⅱ to National Ⅲ, which require the change of the engine.But there are also other reasons that influence the prices change.
(1) The sales growth of the new energy buses push the increase of the average unit prices of the buses. In Jan.- May 2012, though the year-on-year growth of the new energy buses declines, but the sales of the 11m~12m energy buses keeps steady, which contributes to increasing the unit prices of the 11m~12m buses.
(2) As the passengers require more on more on the comfort and safety performance on the buses, so on one hand, the public transportation companies in the big cities purchase 11m~12m buses which could meet the requirement of the passengers. On the other hand, they also upgrade their 11m~12m bus fleets to meet the requirements on the safety, comfort and reliability performance of the buses.
