From above data, it is seen that the sales growth of the top ten bus builders' export was 23.19 percent in Jan.- Aug. 2012, but in Jan.- August 2011, the sales growth were 74.88 percent. So the sales growth decreased by 51.69 percent, which was the biggest one in the history.
Part Three: Analysis of New Energy City Bus in Jan. - Aug. in 2012
In Jan. - Aug. 2012, the sales volume of the new energy city buses were nearly 3,100 units, which decreased by 18.2 percent compared to the same period of last year. From the sales of the new energy city buses, the large new energy city buses above 10 meters long were the leading selling models. From the engine types, most of them are equipped with cummins, which accounted for over 50 percent of the market share.
The new energy city buses' sales grow every year, however, in Jan.-August 2012, the sales of it was in negative growth, which due to its high prices, the technology and the real saving oil performance etc.
In the new energy city buses' sales, the medium ones decreased sharply. The large ones accounted for the biggest market shares, then it is followed by the medium ones and the small ones.
