From above data, it is seen that
1. In Jan.-Oct. 2012, the sales growth of Jan. & August, these two months were in negative and the other eight months' sales growth were in positive. The biggest increased month was in May and the biggest decreased month was in August.
2. The sales volume was up and down in Jan.-Oct. 2012. The total sales volume in Jan.-Oct. 2012 were 28,973 units, which increased by 9.62 percent, comparing with 26,428 units in the same period of 2011. 3
Part Two: Analysis of 30~35-seat and 45~49-seat Tourist Buses in the Jan.-Oct. 2012 & 2011
According to the number of the seats to divide the tourist bus market, the 30~35-seat and 45~49-seat tourist buses are the two most popular ones. Their total market share reach 64.5 percent, 3 percent higher than the first ten months of 2011. The market share of 30~35-seat tourist buses increases as well as the market share of 45~49-seat tourist buses compared to last year.
According to the investigation of the target users, the tour groups are divided into big tour groups and small tour groups. The general big one carries about 47 tourists and the small one carries about 33 tourists. So the tourist buses are mainly concentrated in the lengths of 10~11 meters, 11~12 meters, 8~9 meters and 7~8 meters. The following information shows the sales statistics of 30~35-seat and 45~49-seat tourist buses in the first ten months of 2012 in China.

From above data, it is seen that
1. It sold 28,973 units of tourist buses in the first ten months of 2012, including 8,923 units of 30~35-seat tourist buses (accounted for 30.8 percent of the total tourist bus sales) and 9,764 units of 45~49-seat tourist buses (accounts for 33.7 percent of the total tourist bus sales ). The total sales of these two buses were 18,687 units, which accounted for about 64.5 percent of the total tourist buses.
2.In the first ten months of 2012, the total market share of 30~35-seat and 45~49-seat tourist buses is 3 percent higher than that of 2011, which shows the sales of the tourist buses is concentrated in these two different lengths buses.
3.The market share of 30~35-seat tourist buses in first ten months of 2012 was 30.8 percent,which was 1.7 percent higher than the same period of 2011 ( that was 29.1 percent). And the market share of the 45~49-seat tourist buses was 33.7 percent, which was 1.4 percent higher than the same period of 2011 (that is 32.3 percent).
4. It indicates that the problems of the empty-loading ratio and return rate of large tourist buses are preliminarily improving. With the well development of the tourist bus market, the sales proposition of the 45~49-seat tourist buses will increase bigger in 2012. The sales of the 11~12 meters big tourist buses in 2012 is inevitable increasing.
