Market Analysis of LNG Buses in 2012 Ⅰ

The Ministry of Transport released "2012 Transport energy-saving and emission reduction funds program", and LNG buses are becoming the first priority on the policy. LNG buses won markets for its low fuel consumption and low operation costs. Some LNG buses started to run in Fujian Transport Company and the fuel costs were reduced largely. Some 126 Yuan can be saved per 100 km, and 100,000 Yuan can be saved per bus per year, 42% lower than before.
　
PM2.5 will be monitered compulsively according to the new AAQS(ambient air quality standard). And vehicle emissions contribute 38% of the total PM2.5 complex. Whereas, LNG buses can reduce emission 97% CO emission, 72% hydrocarbon, 80% oxynitride, 24% CO2, 90% sulfur dioxide and 100% benzene, lean and dust, that is 90% lower than diesel engine buses.

Sales of large LNG buses are more than that of medium and small buses.
　　
Use of LNG buses are concentrating on West China where natural gases are explored and used for a longer period of tim.

Use of LNG buses are mainly in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Tianjin, Sichuan province, Hainan province, Harbin, Changchun, Xi'an, Guangzhou, Yinchuan, Jinan, Qingdao, Langfang etc. provinces and cities. And the main areas are Sichuan province and Chongqing, Northeast China, the Yangtze River Delta area, Beijng and Tianjin, Central China and South China.
　
a. Monthly sales of LNG buses
　　
5,001 LNG buses were sold in 2012, up 65.5%, much higher than the average of sales of buses in China.

We can see from the table that:

1. The biggest sales growth was in March, and the figure is 186.8%, and the biggest sales saw in December, and the volumes are over 600 units.

2. Sales growth of LNG buses were 65.5%, much more than the figure of China bus sales, 10%.

3. Although the sales volumes is not big, the sales growth is rather large and robust.

b. Sales of large LNG buses are the most, and then it's medium and small LNG buses.
