Part one: General Sales Analysis on the Market of New Energy Bus in Jan.-Dec. of 2012

According to the industry statistic from www.chinabuses.com, it is shown that in Jan. -Dec. 2012, it sold 5,656 units of new energy buses in China, which rose by 3.72 percent of the same period of 2011, which were 5,453 units. And the market share of the new energy buses & coaches in Jan. – Dec. 2012 accounted for 93.09 percent of the total market sales of new energy commercial vehicles. From the monthly sales, in Feb. & March, the sales of the new energy buses & coaches are all over 600 units. The large & medium new energy buses & coaches are still the main forces to make the new energy vehicles commercialization.

From above data, it is seen that

1. The total sales volume of the lareg new energy buses in Jan.-Dec. 2007 were 3,488 units, which accounted for 61.67 percent. The medium new energy buses were 1,699 units and market share was 30.0 percent. The light new energy buses were 469 units with the market share being 8.33 percent.

2. For the sales of the new energy buses, the large new energy bus increased most, and then it is followed by medium new energy bus and small new energy bus. But the small new energy bus sales growth was the only one in negative.

From above data, it is seen that the sales growth of the pure electric buses was the highest one, which was 38.57 percent. The growth of the new energy buses was one main factor influence the new energy bus market.
