Part One: Sales Analysis of China Mainstream School Bus Builders in Jan. 2013
In the school bus industry, in Jan. 2013, it sold 1,453 units of school buses, down 12 percent over Jan. 2012. Yutong school buses are the best selling products, which accounted for the biggest part of the school bus market, that is, 18.86 percent.

However, the top sixteen bus builders' total school buses sales were 1,439 units, which accounted for 99.036 percent of the total sales of the school bus market.

From above data, it is seen that
1. The China bus builder, whose school bus sales volumes over 100 units in 2013, are Yutong Bus, Zhongtong Bus, Dongte Bus，Chang'an Bus, Dongfeng Bus Xiangyan Bus and Shangrao Bus. Among them, Yutong Bus sold 274 units of school buses which accounted for 18.86 percent of the total school bus market share, but decreased by 21.5 percent over Jan. 2012, which was 40.38 percent. The figure shows that more fierce competition in school bus segment market.
2. Based on the various lengths of the school buses, the sales of 6～7 meters school buses was the biggest one, which accounted for 32.45 percent of the school buses' total sales, decreasing by nearly 10 percent over Jan. 2012. The second one is the 7～8 meters school buses, whose market share increased over Jan. 2012. The third one is 8～9 meters school buses, whose market share decreased over Jan. 2012. The least one is the 11～12 meters school buses, whose market share was zero in Jan. 2012.
