Analysis on Bus Market in October

www.chinabuses.org: According to sources, in October 2014, domestic buses (incomplete ones included) produce 46401 units and sell 45023 units. The production went down by 17.57% on last month and up by 3.20% on 2013 and the sales went down by 20.46% on last month and up by 0.01% against last year. Sales of large, medium and light buses are 5307, 5865 and 33851 units respectively, sharing the market by 11.79%, 13.03% and 75.19%.

 
Large Bus

In October 2014, sales of large buses (incomplete ones included) are 5307 units, a sharp decline of 32.77% on last month and down by 4.72% on last year. In October, the top 5 manufactures of large bus (incomplete ones included) are Yutong, King Long, Golden Dragon, Higer and Foton AUV, with a total sales of 3873 units sharing 72.98% of the whole large bus (incomplete ones included) market of which the sales are 5307 units.

From the above, all the other four manufactures except Foton AUV see the decline of sales on last month. Compared with last year, only Yutong and Golden Dragon make positive growth.
 
 
Medium Bus

In October 2014, sales of medium buses (incomplete ones included) is 5865 units, down by 21.10% on last month and down by 22.40% on last year. In October , the top 5 manufactures of medium bus (incomplete ones included) are Yutong, Dongfeng, Higer, Ankai and JAC , with a total sales of 4256units sharing 72.57% of the whole medium bus (incomplete ones included) market of which the sales are 5865 units.

Compared with last month, three of the five manufactures makes negative growth in sales and compared with last year, three manufactures makes positive growth. Of the top five manufactures only Yutong's total sales growth rate is positive however just of 0.98%.
 
 
Light Bus
 

In October 2014, sales of light buses (incomplete ones included) are 33851 units, down by 18.00% on last month and up by 6.14% on last year. In October , the top 5 manufactures of large bus (incomplete ones included) are Jinbei, NAVECO, Dongfeng, Foton AUV and JAC, with a total sales of 22282 units sharing 65.82% of the whole light bus (incomplete ones included) market of which the sales are 33851 units.

Compared with last month, only NAVECO makes positive growth in sales and compared with last year, only JAC see negative growth. NAVECO is the only manufacture of the top five who makes positive growth both on last month and on last year.
