Following Yutong, Zhongtong’s monthly production volume of electric buses in July reached 883 units in July, which made up 13.9% of the whole market share. Dongfeng, with 515 units electric buses in July and a market share of 8.1%, ranked the third place in China. Since June this year, electric bus market has maintained a fast growing momentum. In June, the production volume of electric buses grew by 4.5 times year on year and 138% month on month. In July, the production volume of electric buses (6,371 units) grew by 15% compared with the monthly production volume in June. In addition, it is nearly as many as the production volume of electric passenger vehicles in the same month.
