Summarize:On January 14, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) officially released the first New Energy Vehicle Application & Recommendation Catalogue in 2020.
The catalogue includes 140 new energy vehicles, including 39 new energy buses. Nanjing King Long, with five new energy buses in the catalogue, has the biggest number of new entries, followed by CRRC Electric with four. Yixing, Zhongtong and Yutong all have three entries respectively. After these brands, Sunwin, Golden Dragon, Guangxi Automobile, Higer and Wanxiang Group all have two entries respectively. All together, the ten bus makers hold 71.8% entries of all the new entries of new energy buses.
Of all the 39 new energy buses, 74% are powered by lithium iron phosphate, 20.5% are powered by fuel cells, and 5.1% are powered by lithium manganate.
