In May, the top ten destinations for buses & coaches made in China were Saudi Arabia (47.6%), Egypt (9.54%), Kazakhstan (8.04%), Nigeria, Vietnam, Cyprus, Chile, Hong Kong SAR, UAE, Jordan. The combined export volume (3,357 units) to the top ten destinations accounted for over 85% of China’s total bus export volume in May. For details, please refer to Table 2 below.

From January to May, the top ten destinations for buses & coaches made in China were Egypt (26.43%), Saudi Arabia (18.3%), Peru (6.2%), Bolivia, Vietnam, Philippines, Nigeria, Venezuela, UAE and Chile. The combined export volume (17,214 units) to the top ten destinations accounted for 76.1% of China’s total bus export volume (22,611 units) in from January to May. In May, China exported 171 units electric buses abroad, up by 55.0% year on year. From January to May, China exported 556 units electric buses abroad, up by 72.0% year on year. In the same period, China exported 52 units plug-in hybrid buses abroad, down by 61.0%. In total, China exported 608 units new energy buses abroad, up by 49.4% year on year.
