China’s Bus Production and Sales Volume Reached 43,000 Units and 44,800 Units in June

According to the latest statistics released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), China produced 43,000 units buses (chassis included) and sold 44,800 units in June this year, up by 16% and 22% month on month respectively, up by 33% and 30% year on year respectively.

In June, China’s sales volume of large-sized buses reached 5,568 units, accounting for 12.43% of the total bus sales. For the detailed information of the top 5 bus makers in the large-sized bus market, please refer to Table 1 below.

From January to June this year, China sold 223,200 units buses, up by 24% year on year. In the same period, its sales volume of large-sized buses reached 23,800 units, up by 31% year on year and accounting for 10.66% of the total bus sales.
