China Buses Export in August, Golden Dragon Ranks Third

Higer Bus exported 649 units, jumping to fourth place with a year-on-year growth of 68.57% and a month-on-month growth of 63.48%, accounting for 11.91% of the market share, nearly 2 percentage points higher than in July.

Zhongtong Bus exported 505 units, ranking fifth with a year-on-year increase of 44.29% and a market share of 9.27%.

From January to August 2024, the total export volume of China buses reached 36,932 units, representing a year-on-year increase of 38.47%. The growth rate expanded by nearly 3 percentage points compared to the first seven months, maintaining a robust trend.

Zhongtong Bus maintained its third position with 4,583 units exported, marking a year-on-year increase of 73.99% and a market share of 12.41%.

Golden Dragon Bus exported 4,124 units, continuing to rank fourth with a market share of 11.17%, nearly 1 percentage point higher than in the first seven months.

Higer Bus exported 3,680 units, remaining in fifth place with a year-on-year increase of 13.44% and a market share of 9.96%.

Among the top ten exporters, nine achieved year-on-year growth. Foton AUV still had the highest growth rate of 196.19%, while other companies with doubled year-on-year growth included FAW Jiefang (165.36%), JMC Jingma (142.6%), and AsiaStar Bus (124.88%).
