Proposal on raising the industrial threshold for business entry
GAO Shufeng, Assistant to General Manager of Shandong Gold Phoenix Group Co., Ltd.: at present, China has a number of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialized in production of brake pads. Due to their outdated production techniques and a lack of sufficient inspection equipment, their under-priced products with poor quality have severely disrupted the market order. To better the market environment, the government and related departments are advised to set up more strict entry standards and encourage large-sized enterprises with advanced production and inspection facilities to expand further. In this way, the overall development level of China’s brake pad sector will be improved.
