Mercedes-Benz Sale Surges in Feb

News from Mercedes-Benz (China) says it sold 2,800 vehicles in total across China in February, up 21 percent year-on-year. The growth is higher than the overall sedan segment average of 17.6 percent.
SUV becomes an important contributor to the automaker's achievements in China with total of 1,600 units sold, up 61 percent year-on-year. Klaus Maier, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz (China) Ltd, says "We are very happy to see that Mercedes-Benz sustained its growth in February."
According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers reported that auto sales in China surged 25 percent year on year at last month, the first gain in four months. Passenger-car sales, including sport-utility and multipurpose vehicles, rose 24 percent last month to 607,300.
