Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd (Zhongtong for short as below) signed a new agreement with Jinan’s government on March 27, 2009. The agreement includes 80 new-energy buses and the length of each bus is 12 meters. News from Zhongtong says the emission standard of these buses reach Euro V and the total value exceeds 88 million Yuan. All of 80 new-energy buses will put into commercial use before July 31, 2009. According to the development plan from the city of Jinan, it will buy 300 new-energy buses before 2010. Compared with old-style bus, new-energy bus can save more than 30% fuel.
