Engines Export 161, 200 Units in March

News from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), May 8, said, according to statistics data of CAAM, exports of engines, parts and components in March 2009 stopped dropping and went upward, rise was significantly higher than the corresponding imports.
Among which, engines exported in March were 161, 200, with the sequential growth rate 37.55%, year-on-year basis declined by 63.52% ; The amount of exports was 44,330,000, with the sequential growth rate17.56%, year-on-year basis declined by 61.90%; Automotive parts, accessories and bodywork exports reached 1.048 billion U.S. dollars, with the sequential growth rate 59.92%, year-on-year basis declined by 33.92%; Car, motorcycle tire export reached 517 million U.S. dollars, with the sequential growth rate46.37%, year-on-year basis declined by 18.68%; other automotive-related amount of merchandise exported reached 341 million U.S. dollars, with the sequential growth rate 50.23%, year-on-year basis declined by 41.38%.
The amount of automotive merchandise exported in March was1.951 billion U.S. dollars, accounted for 74.72% of exports of automotive merchandise nationwide.
