Leaders from Four Ministries Inspect Ankai

On May 23, 2009, accompanied by WANG Jiang’an and other chief executives of Anhui Ankai Automobile Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ankai), leaders and experts from four ministries conducted an inspection on the company’s new energy bus project.
Related government agencies, Anhui Provincial Government and Hefei Municipal Government have attached significant importance to the popularization of greener buses since Hefei was officially elected as one of the ten cities across China to launch the demonstration project of 1,000 units of new energy buses. The visit, jointly conducted by four ministries, is chiefly aimed at assessing the implementation and progress for the pilot project.
After hearing a detailed introduction of Ankai K46EV all-electric luxurious bus made by WANG Jiang’an, the inspection team took a ride on the bus and spoke highly of the remarkable achievements made by the bus builder.
While wrapping up their tour, leaders urged Ankai to continue to strengthen its R&D efforts in new energy bus area so as to make new breakthroughs and sharpen its overall competitiveness in the international bus & coach market.
