Prosperity of Auto Parts &Components Industry in Kunshan

Recently, the opening ceremony of George Fischer Automotive Products (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. was held in Kunshan Development Zone, which marked a new member in automotive parts&components industry in Kunshan Development Zone. By the end of April, there are more than 100 precision machinery enterprises main in special auto and parts&components production ,of which, more than 70 enterprises have a certain production capacity, such as, SANY Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd,Kenda Rubber(China)Co,.Ltd,NSK, Enkei Aluminium Industry (china) Co., Ltd.

 

SANY Heavy Industry Co., Ltd has completed annual 4000 units’ excavator production line, its annual value of production is 3 billion yuan(＄440 million), and it won key high-tech enterprise of the State Torch Program in 2006. Kenda Rubber (China) Co., Ltd. began to produce in January 1999, it produces and sells inside and outside tires and related plastic products to autos, and it ranks 32 in this industry worldwide. Besides, there are a few high-quality, large-scale, high technology automotive parts &components enterprises, such as NSK, Enkei Aluminium Industry (china) Co., Ltd., liuhe Precision Machinery Industry (kunshan) Co, .Ltd, Hengst Filter System (kunshan) Co., Ltd, .
 

In recent years, Kunshan Development Zone focuses on 7 key components of automobiles and tries to attract European, American, Japan and South Korea auto parts&components enterprises, strives for special auto, parts&components bases. Currently, total assets of auto parts &components in Kunshan Development Zone are 31.7 billion yuan(＄4.65 billion), sales revenue in 2008 was 25.3 billion yuan(＄3.71 billion), profits and taxes were 4.5 billion yuan(＄660 million). A person who was in charge of Kunshan Development Zone, told the reporters that, besides the electronic information industry, precision machinery enterprises main in auto parts&components has become another pillar industry in the Development Zone. The bigger and stronger of precision machinery industry will play a strong leading role in economic sustainable growth of the Development Zone.
