New Hybrid Buses to Serve Summer Davos

English.chinabuses.com: News from english.chinabuses.com says China will use a new type of hybrid power bus to serve Summer Davos Forum starting September 10 in the city of Dalian, northeast China's Liaoning Province.
The new type of hybrid bus can save nearly 30 percent of fuel consumption and the emission standard will reach Euro III. It will consume only 30 liters of fuel every 100 kilometers and discharge 20 percent less of emissions. It can carry 103 passengers and travel at a maximum speed of 85 kilometers an hour. These new hybrid buses are manufactured by FAW, one of China's largest auto manufacturers.
In order to encourage manufacture, research and development of more environment-friendly vehicles, the Chinese government offers huge subsidies in 13 trial cities in nationwide, including Beijing, Shanghai, Changchun, Dalian and Shenzhen, etc.
