They were warmly welcomed by Chairman of Zonda Xu Lianguo, President of Zonda Xu Liankuan, Vice Chairman Zhang Yuqing, Vice Preisdent Xu Zicai and General Manager of Zonda Bus Ma Xian.
During the visiting, the leaders visited both manufacturing bases of Zonda Bus and Zonda Automobile Equipment. They also experienced the operating performance of Zonda Qingshan pure electric bus by riding. Then President Xu Liankuan introduced the recent development of the new engery bus. He said that Zonda had made great breakthough in the key technologies like battery, motor, controller and had got the independent intellectual property rights. Also in July, the 500-kilometer demonstration of Zonda Qingshan pure electric bus had got success in Beijing, which made Zonda Bus the first pure electric bus manufacturer whose bus can drive 500km. At present, the bus’s driving performance was popular in Europe and America, and the first prototype bus exported to Europe will be shipped in mid-September.
During meeting, Vice Chairman Zhang Yuqing introduced the process of the research and development of Zonda pure electric bus, and discussed with the visitors about the national policy on new engery bus and the development plan of Zonda pure electric bus.
Then the Deputy Director Ni Xiangyu gave an introduction of the basic situation and advantages of Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone. He said that it was very exciting that the management of the Zonda Bus Group was so well-organized. It was also amazing that how soonly that Zonda pure electric bus got accepted by the bus market at home and abroad. The future of Zonda new engery bus was bright and he hoped Zonda Group can synchronously invest in the project in Tianjin for which Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone would give fully support.
