Chinese Automakers Focus on US Market

English.chinabuses.com: Currently, American automakers involve in global economic turmoil, but some of Chinese automakers are making plans to enter American auto market. According to Chinese automaker BYD says it will sell electric autos in the US by 2011 and now it began the preparation for the entry.
General manager of auto export trade division with BYD Auto said “By 2011 our electric car would be a proven and mature product after three years of existence in China, while the Volt would just be a year old.” Meanwhile, BYD plans to set up an office in California and make the state the first destination.
BYD auto is not the only one company plans to enter North America, another Chinese automaker Brilliance also plans to access USA. Both of them have full confidence about their products.
