English.chinabuses.com: News from Tianjin Qingyuan Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd (Qingyuan for short as below) shows that now it is in talks with Daimler AG to develop an electric version of a van in southeast China. At present, many automakers are either investing or looking to invest in green vehicles. It is a good time for Qingyuan to expand its business and production.
According to Qingquan’s long-term plan, it not only wants to make electric autos itself but also hopes to become a major supplier of key components for big auto groups in the electric vehicle business.
Qingyuan is the Chinese electric vehicle maker. It is the first Chinese firm that has sold more than 2,000 self-made electric vehicles to the United States. Currently, it is seeking to team up with big automakers to expand its domestic and overseas business. Qingyuan locates in the municipality of Tianjin and its year’s production capacity reaches 5,000 to 6,000 units.
