China Auto Export Meets Challenges

www.chinabuses.org: According to statistics show that China's auto exports have declined for 12 consecutive months since August in 2008 due to the financial crisis. Overseas demand has a big contraction in this period.
Mr. Zhou Ruojun, the Commerce Ministry official, says China's auto exports were facing an increasingly tougher situation as there was an apparent rise of protectionism in international trade. Besides that, quality and after-sale service problems frequently found in China-made autos in overseas markets. One important reason was that the domestic auto exporters lacked knowledge about overseas demand, government policies, regulations, and certification.
