www.chinabuses.org: Currently, China buses and coaches industry is developing very fast. China is the bus manufacturing capital of the world. In the year of 2009, China buses and coaches manufacturers are gearing up to compete in the global market. Many buses are exported to Southeast Asia, South America, Middle East, Africa, etc. For example, Xiamen Kinglong United Automotive Industry Co., Ltd (Kinglong for short as below) exported hybrid bus to Singapore in this summer. Kinglong bus receives a very warm welcome in Singaporean market. Now, Kinglong establishes a completed sales network in the world. In the year of 2008, overseas sales revenue accounts for more than 30 percent of its total, accroding to Kinglong says.

In addition to Kinglong, Zhengzhou Yutong Group also wins great popularity in this year. In June 29th, 2009, Yutong handed over 75 city buses to Kuwait's customers. This is the first time for China-made buses entering Kuwait market. Before that, there is no Chinese bus brand in Kuwait. According to Yutong reports, the order has 175 buses in total. This is the first batch to hand.
Many auto experts think that low price is not the only reason for China's success in entering foreign markets. Advanced technology and good quality are also the key factors to lure foreign customers. Buses and coaches are quite different from the sedans. Tailor manufacturing always needs huge manual labor. It is a good opportunity for China, but it is also the challenges to our research & development compatibility and after-service ability. However, there is no doubt that export is always a good measure for Chinese bus companies to win in the global auto competition.
