www.chinabuses.org: News from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers says many Chinese automakers are making autos almost 24 hours a day. However, it can not fully meet the market demand so far. Many Chinese auto buyers have to wait nearly two or three months in the 4S shop and queue up for their autos.
Many Chinese auto experts believe that the spending power in the medium and small cities is rising, and demand in these cities has surpassed the bigger cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and so on. Experts say about 55-60 percent of sales come from middle- and small-sized cities in China. In the short-term development plan, many Chinese automakers will expand their dealership in smaller cities and the proportion may expect to reach 75 percent in the next few years. However, the National Development and Reform Commission warns that Chinese automaker should keep their minds clearly to prevent the overcapacity. Many negative economic factors still exist now. The global financial crisis is lingering. According to the new production plan from automakers, many of them expand the capacity in the year of 2010.
