www.chinabuses.org: Recently, the UK pavilion of Shanghai World Expo started the cruise with the topic of "Experience Wonderful England in Shanghai World Expo" in the southwest cities of China. Double-deck bus, the symbol of U.K. is marked with dandelion pattern of UK pavilion and set out from Shanghai, via Chengdu, Chongqing, Changsha, Nanchang and Fuzhou. This activity ends on 28 March and the bus will return to Shanghai.
This cruise targets at letting more Chinese people learn Shanghai World Expo, the participation of U.K. and this innovative country. During two week's cruise, a series of activities about climate change, business trade, culture and education will be held by the creative UK pavilion. Some events will be held on the bus top in the cities where there is no office of British Consulate-General.
It is one of the typical projects with cooperation of the Britain Big Bus Company for China-UK cooperation. This cruise further promotes the trade partnership of two countries and the importance of low-carbon public transport. It is known that the UK pavilion with the nickname of "dandelion" by Chinese people is a top open city park showing topic of "Building on the Past, Shaping our Future" and the harmonious relationship between human and nature.
