Delegates of Jiangsu Province Investigated Zonda New Energy Bus Project

www.chinabuses.org: On April 29, the delegation of the Federation of Industrial Economics of Jiangsu Province, the Business Association and the Entrepreneur Association, under the leadership of the Chairman of the “Three Associations”, former vice chairman of CPPCC of Jiangsu Province Wu Donghua visited Zonda Group. The Chairman of Zonda Group Xu Lianguo, Vice President Ma Xian and Zhou Jianmin gave leaders a warm reception.
During the visit, Ma Xian gave the representatives of “Three Associations” an introduction of the current situations of China’s bus industry, and emphasized in introducing the development situations of Zonda new energy bus project. Currently, the two main series of Zonda new energy bus are pure electric bus and mix-power bus. And the three core technologies of pure electric bus have already acquired the national patent. On July 16th of 2009, Zonda Qingshan pure electric bus, under the common witness of China’s Road & Transport Association, Bus Branch of China’s Highway Association, China’s Transportation News, China’s Bus Network and other thirty medias and industry professionals, completed the operation of 500km with one charge.
After having an understanding of the Zonda pure electric bus project, Chairman Wu Donghua expressed his affirmation toward the development direction and ways of the new energy project of Zonda Group, and gave high praise to the research and innovation ideas of Zonda energy research department. He said that Zonda pure electric bus was with great prospect, that it not only provides power but also realizes the energy storage. It played a great role in the aspect of the development of industry technology. At last, he expressed that the “Three Associations” would support Zonda new energy project in many aspects by insisting the principles of “service company, own trusts from company, rely on company”.
Others who attended the investigation were vice president of the “Three Associations” and former Deputy of Provincial Economic and Trade Commission Zhu Bo, executive vice president of the “Three Associations” and former director of the provincial Quality Inspection Administration Wu Changrui, executive vice president of the “Three Associations” and former director of the Complete Equipment Bureau Wang Ji, and senior expert of the “Three Associations” and former vice director of Provincial Environmental Office Zhao Quan, etc.
