It is revealed that currently there have been 6 hybrid power charging stations in Shenzhen. 25 charging stations for hybrid power buses, 2500 slow-speed charging stations for service cars and 10000 slow-speed charging stations for the public and 200 fast-speed charging stations for the public, affordable for the application of 850 hybrid power buses in recent two years.
24,000 new energy vehicles will be launched in Shenzhen in 2010, including 4000 buses (hybrid power coaches: 3000 units, electric power buses: 1000 units), 2500 taxis, 2500 service cars and 15000 private cars. It is predicted that 109,000 tons oil refining, fuel cost of 580 million Yuan, 146,000 tons carbon dioxide, 1026.6 tons carbon monoxide, 81.0 tons hydrocarbon and 135.1 tons oxynitride will be reduced in Shenzhen by 2012.
