The First National Standards for School Bus to Implant in July

www.chinabuses.org: Primary School Bus Safety Technical Requirement published by National Bureau of Quality Inspection and National Standards Commission has been implanted on July 1.
According to National Bureau of Quality Inspection, specialized primary school bus refers to school buses carrying no less than ten students. And the new national standards rules fire prevention, safety belt, position of carer, windows, doors, interior trimmings, and lightings. The school bus should be yellow, there should be two plates on the right below front windshield glass and right next to rear windows, and there should be rated passengers, contact info of the school, driver, and driving lines. Safety belts should be equipped in each seat.
There should be at least one seat for the carer and two carer seats when passengers are over forty persons. There should be at least two emergency exits, and no less than three when passengers are thirteen to twenty-four persons.
VTDR should be equipped in the school bus to record speed, time, distance and other related information about the vehicle.
The standard rules out the possibility of using city bus, medium bus, or double deckers as school buses.
