The First Hengtong Electric Buses Operate in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province

www.chinabuses.org: On 18 October 2010, Hengtong Bus signed the first order for electric buses with Chongqing Public Transport Group and Zhejiang Huzhou Public Transport Company on the "The first 50 new energy buses in operation for 100 days, namely, the launching ceremony of electric buses". On 16 December, the first 12-meter electric buses have been prepared for the delivery to Zhejiang Huzhou Public Transport Company.
Hengtong Electric Buses
This model is equipped with the streamline body with CATIA design system, low floor, large front windshield, glass window, human-centered operating platform, stainless steel leather chairs, armrests & rings, electronic monitoring, and sunvisor.
Hengtong electric buses are provided with iron-phosphate-based lithium-ion battery pack and three-shift variable transmission and outstanding in low operation, fuel economy, good power, acceleration, strong gradeability and high energy efficiency. The charging can afford to the driving range of more than 200 kilometers each time with about 85-120 kilowatt-hour per hundred kilometers. The operation cost of Hengtong electric buses is far less than that of fuel or natural gas buses due to the energy recovery and utility during braking.
