Hefei Supports New Energy Vehicles to Benefit JAC and Ankai

www.chinabuses.org: Recently closed Hefei People’s congress listed “New Energy Vehicle” as the first proposal. JAC Motors and Ankai Bus will be strongly supported in the twelfth five-year plan to build comparatively complete new energy auto industry system with their recourse all over the world, and their annual output of new energy vehicles will amount to 100,000 units.
Hefei will continue to develop pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles as well as electric machines, controllers, electric steering gear, and electric instruments. At the same time, they are exploring some new business mode for new energy vehicles, such as renting batteries and complete vehicles. And the first 10,000 recharging piles will be built fast as public infrastructure.
Green public transport will be put as first priority to develop. In the next five to ten years, city public transport system mainly composed of new energy vehicles will be finished, and 300 electric city buses will added end of this year.
