www.chinabuses.org: It is known that 40 Golden Dragon XML6125JHEV28C low access fuel-electric hybrid power city buses formally rolled off the production line and have been delivered to Hangzhou Xiaoshan Public Transport Company. This is the first group of hybrid power city buses for public transport in Xiaoshan City.
The principal of Golden Dragon Bus in Xiaoshan Region showed that Xiaoshan transport company invited public tender for hybrid power city buses to further improve bus quality as well as environment and promote energy-saving. Golden Dragon Bus won the tender for almost 10 year's experience in the development of new energy buses and competitive products (low fuel consumption, low emission, long service life, good braking and acceleration, easy driving, simple structure and convenient maintenance).
It is known from Golden Dragon Bus that the 12-meter hybrid power city bus was equipped with the new generation of Golden Dragon serial-parallel hybrid power system Ⅲ(GHS Ⅲ) consisting of super capacitor and spare lithium batteries, which fully develop the advantages of fast recharge/releasing, high efficiency and power, small quality and long service life of super capacitor as well as lithium batteries for back-up power. It solves the customers’ problem of the after-sales and maintenance of batteries. In the meantime, the key components such as control system and motor are all independently developed by Golden Dragon Bus, which makes sure the better development potential of new energy products for Golden Dragon Bus. These 40 buses are based on the third generation of hybrid power system and engine (National IV). This model owns high fuel efficiency (saving about 25% more than conventional diesel bus), powerful Yuchai engine and applies the advanced cathode electrophoresis anticorrosion technology in China (available for anticorrosion for 10 years) as well as full loading technology to greatly enhance operation safety.
