Analysis of Commercial Vehicles Market in China in the Period of “the eleventh five-plan”

www.chinabuses.org:The sales of commercial vehicles increases dramatically in China in 2010 and the sales growth rate (4,367,600 units; year-on-year growth of 28.19%) is higher than that of production (4,304,100 units; year-on-year growth of 29.90% ).
The sales for the various types of commercial vehicles is as followed: buses & coaches (356,200 units, y/y growth of 31.30%); trucks (2,831,300 units, y/y growth of 25.83%); semi-trailers(354,600 units, y/y growth of 67.98%); incomplete buses(86,900 units, y/y growth of 4.93%); incomplete trucks(675,100 units; y/y growth of 35.53%).
In 2010, top 10 commercial vehicle producers in China: Beiqi Foton (669,700 units, y/y growth of 13.80%; Dongfeng (637,700 units, y/y growth of 41.76%); FAW(394,300 units; y/y growth of 29.62%); Changan (275,200 units; y/y growth of 17.62%); JAC (254,500 units; y/y growth of 30.24%); Jinbei (229,000 units; y/y growth of 45.15%); Sinotruk (218,800 units; y/y growth of 40.52%); JMC (174,700 units; y/y growth of 57.04%); Shaanxi Automobile (118,200 units; y/y growth of 46.80%)；NAC（110,100 units; y/y growth of 26.41%）. The sales volume of top ten producers is 3,082,200 units, accounting for 71.61% of the total.
In 2010, it exports 544,900 vehicles, year-on-year growth of 63.94% (282,900 cars, y/y growth of 89.18%; 261,900 commercial vehicles, y/y growth of 43.28%). Top five auto manufactures for exporting are Chery Automobile (92,000 units), Changan Group (65,500 units), Great Wall Motor (55,400 units), Dongfeng (48,000 units) and BAW Group (37,300 units). During the period the eleventh five-year plan, the accumulated exporting volume of automobiles is 2.5 million units with the average growth of 39.8% each year.
According to the statistics data, the main economic indicator of the various producers is higher than that in the same period of last year. The major operation income of the corporations above reaches 3935 billion Yuan RMB, year-on-year growth of 38.82%; the related taxes come to 511.9 billion Yuan, year-on-year growth of 54.81%.
