Foton AUV Secures 14 Pure Electric Buses Order

www.chinabuses.org: It is learned from Foton New Energy Bus that they signed bus purchase order of fourteen Foton AUV pure electric city buses with Zhongshan City on Feb. 17, 2011. And this is another new energy bus order after signing like orders with Beijing, Jinan, Kunming, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Taiwai etc.
In recent years, central government put development of new energy vehicles as the first priority, and 2010 was even viewed as the key year to develop and forge this strategic industry. As the biggest commercial vehicle manufacturers in China even the world, Foton is always responding fast on government’s call of energy-saving and emission reduction. And they also made every effort on research and develop new energy vehicles. Sales of Foton hybrid buses have amounted to 1,401 units, including 150 AUV pure electric buses till January this year.
