Electric Buses Developed by GTMC to Produce in Batches by the End 2011

www.chinabuses.org: It is known from GTMC that the electric buses developed by GTMC will be produced in batches at the end of this year. According to Yuan Zhongrong, chairmen of GTMC, they are developing the electric buses and making efforts to enhance reliability and reduce cost and it is predicted that the plug-in electric buses will be produced by the end of this year. It is understood that there are 360 new energy vehicles in operation in Guangzhou during the period of the Asian Games, including 174 hybrid power city buses, 100 hybrid power vehicles for public affairs, 26 electric city buses and 60 fuel cell sightseeing buses.
