www.chinabuses.org: Over 20,000 Chinese have been evacuated from Libya since turmoil in Libya on Feb. 15, 2011. Chinese government assigned charted planes, passenger liners, large fishers and large buses to transport Chinese citizens to go back to China. Yutong bus, as the main transport tool on roads, played an important role on carrying Chinese citizens in this process.

As the leading bus brand in China, Yutong buses have been exported to Africa, Asia and Latin America. There were as many as 490 Yutong buses exported to Ghana in 2010 to serve local cities. Since 2005 Egypt has introduced 270 Yutong buses, and Libya, a North Africa country, also purchased some Yutong buses. The road and weather condition in Libya is rather challenging for its hot temperature and dusty air, so they paid much attention on quality of the buses.
