King Long Bus Contributes to the Project of “Ten Cities

www.chinabuses.org:On 17 March 2011, the starting ceremony of “Ten Cities & One Thousand Units” demonstration operation project of new energy vehicles was grandly held in Xiamen International Exhibition Center and 40 hybrid power city buses were formally operated, including 20 King Long XMQ6127GH5 buses.

After the ceremony, the local officials and the visitors visited King Long XMQ6127GH5 hybrid power city buses and were impressive by environment-friendly, steadiness, light noise and clean energy.
20 King Long hybrid power city buses
According to Zhou Fangming, the chief technology officer, King Long Bus has developed new energy buses for ten years, and the current products were sold to Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Changsha and Singapore. XMQ6127GH5 is the hybrid power city bus, available for the city road conditions in Xiamen in 2010 and the performance is outstanding for low emission, low energy consumption and low noise since trial operation in December 2010.

It is introduced that this model has been listed in the national recommended new energy vehicles and qualified for the subsidy of 360, 000 Yuan RMB per bus.
Officials and visitors visit King Long hybrid power city bus
At the ceremony, the operation inspection management system developed by King Long Bus and Xiamen Global Positioning System Development & Application CO., Ltd were formally operated. The system is mainly used to inspect the operation conditions of new energy vehicles through remote data collecting and analysis.

Xu Xiangdong, the deputy general manager of King Long Bus showed that “low-carbon” is the important national development strategy and King Long Bus actively held the development and manufacturing of energy-saving, environment-protection and safe buses & coaches as responsibility to make more values for customers. In 2010, 300 CNG city buses and 2 hybrid power buses produced by King Long Bus ran in Xiamen and there are another 20 hybrid power buses in operation. It is believed that these buses will contribute to low-carbon city and the improving of city life in Xiamen.
