Yangtse Bus Focuses on the Development of Electric City Buses

www.chinabuses.org: It is known that Dongfeng Yangtse Bus Co., Ltd. has sold over 3000 city buses, referring to more than 70 million Yuan RMB. As for these city buses, CNG buses account for two thirds, ranking No. in China and the others are hybrid power city buses and electric buses in 2010, in particular, the order of 300 city buses from Wuhan municipal government. In 2011, it plans to sell 3300 units with the earnings of 750 million Yuan.
According to Yun Jiaqi, the deputy general manager of Yangtse Bus, Yangtse Bus will focus on the development of new electric city buses in the future and the production base covering 1500 mu and with the total investment of 10 billion Yuan has been planned in Wuhan. Phase one is related to 100 production lines with the annual objective sales of 10,000 new energy vehicles and it will become the largest manufacturing & sales base of electric city buses in China. The new product possibly will be launched in this new base in 2012.
