90 Ankai Electric City Buses to Run in Hefei before Sweeping Day

www.chinabuses.org:It is known from Hefei Public Transport Group that 90 Ankai electric buses will be formally applied before Sweeping Day.

At present, there are 30 electric city buses in Hefei and the local government plans to introduce 150 new energy electric city buses in the short term, including 90 units before Sweeping Day. The cost of these buses (2 million Yuan for each bus) is undertaken by the government. One technician revealed that, “it costs 4 to 6 hours for the charging of one city bus and the power can afford to the driving range of 240 to 260 kilometers, offering the transport service for almost one day.”
In addition, Hefei Public Transport organized 100 citizens to take the city buses to feel the big change of the local passenger transport.
