Alfa Low-carbon Buses Show in 2011 Busworld Asia

www.chinabuses.org: 2011 Busworld Asia is going to kick off in Shanghai and Alfa Bus took their newly developed pure electric city bus and energy-saving tourist coach to show in the exhibition.

Alfa pure electric city bus is using Li-ion battery and super capacitor, and this technology can provide high power and electricity for accelerating, braking and climbing, and it can also improve service time and quick charge etc. Its acceleration is about 0-50Km/h, ≤25s, much faster than like products. 80% of its battery can be charged after half an hour. The bus can run as far as 200 km after charging, and only 1.17 kWh is assumed per kilometer.
The new Alfa energy-saving tourist coach is developed aiming to Middle East, South America, Southeast Asia as well as Africa markets. Adopting monocoque bodywork, ABS, front independent suspension, advanced chassis and power train, the bus only consume 25L oil per hundred kms. The coach is suitable for high-end hotel reception and business traveling. The coach features environmental friendly settings and energy-saving characteristics.
