New Energy Vehicles to Return National Development

www.chinabuses.org: In recent five years, the state issued a series of policies and regulations to accelerate new energy vehicles and most domestic mainstream complete vehicle builders started new energy projects, so did auto part producers. However, the commercial operation of new energy vehicles is still a problem and actual condition required our rational attitude towards the development of new energy vehicles.
Firstly, we should follow a realistic and pragmatic approach. Zhang Xiaoyu, the director of Society of Automotive Engineers of China revealed, "Over 80% of the key parts of batteries still have to be imported." Apart from cells, the important technologies such as electronic control also reply on the introducing from the foreign countries.
Secondly, it lays big difference for strategic organization and cooperation from the overseas counterpart. For example, the uniform standard and agreement for electric vehicles have not yet reached for various institutions, authorities and builders. Such condition results from lacking of the macro strategy and interest seeking. Lately, the state brings forward that the development of new energy vehicles will put in the twelfth five-year plan and it will arouse another around of campaign of new energy projects. It demands rational consideration of how to make progress properly and avoid blinding enthusiasm. Of course, it possibly starts in some regions and the commercial operation of electric vehicles could take two steps: pursuit of available & usableness first and ease of use as well as outstanding performance.
