The Exporting of Ankai Bus Grows 30% in the First Quarter 2011

www.chinabuses.org: In 2010, Ankai Bus exports about 770 buses with the sales revenue of around 200 million Yuan RMB. "The sales is good in the first quarter 2011, year-on-year growth of 30% and the exporting trend is positive.", according to Li Guojun, assistant to GM of International Corp of Ankai Bus.
It is known that the overseas sales of Ankai Bus mainly refer to Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America with 7-8 meter and 12-meter products, especially tourist coaches. "The market demands in these regions are great and we have some government-assistance programs in Africa.", he added. Since 2008, Ankai Bus makes steady progress and the proportion of its overseas sales of the overall business grows year by year, 7%~8% in 2009 and about 10% in 2010. "Based on the twelfth five-year plan of Ankai Bus, the overseas sales volume will reach 30% of the total." In the first quarter 2011, Ankai Bus focuses on the fixing and maintain of existing and new markets.
Currently, Ankai Bus has set up sales network in over 40 countries and regions mainly through direct sales and dealership. As for the service system, it works together with the overseas dealers to build it and establishes service points, dispatching technicians to directly guild the dealers in the key markets. "We participate into, guide, manage and offer training for the local dealers' service." Ankai Bus prepares some spare parts basically when the order is made and additional parts storage for big deal or market and cooperated with the dealers to make spare option stations, having founded in the markets in Middle East and Latin America. It is trying to make overseas service hubs, service stations and spare parts centers. "For example, we can set up such service points in middle east, where there are high market shares to facilitate the clients in the areas nearby."
In addition, Ankai Bus is exploring the new marketing and service mode. "We are considering making active sales and service, for example, visiting the overseas customers and increasing the service in the mature markets to maintain markets and gain new orders." When interviewed, Mr. Li is meeting the customer from Brazil for the cooperation to set up plant in Brazil. "It will reduce some restraining factors that production and assembly of the products can be realized in the overseas markets, beneficial for the prosperity of China bus builders for a long term."
