Beiqi Foton New Energy Technology Used on All Commercial Vehicles

www.chinabuses.org: With the establishment of Beijing New Energy Auto Production Base, Beiqi Foton AUV has adopted hybrid, hydrogen cell and pure electric technologies on large and medium buses and Beiqi Group are extending new energy technologies to all their commercial vehicles.
Foton AUV started to develop new energy technology as since 2004, and they released electric hybrid city buses firstly in China, and the hybrid buses have been sold in batches. And Foton hydrogen cell buses have been serving Beijing Olympic Games and Shanghai World Expo.
Foton AUV buses have been purchased by Guangzhou First Bus Company, Beijing Public Transport group and Taiwan Chengyun Company since 2008. 111 Foton electric hybrid buses have been exported to Taiwan in early 2011. Currently, 1,512 Foton hybrid city buses have been sold out, and 150 Foton AUV pure electric buses, 1,084 pure electric sanitation trucks, and 300 pure electric minibuses have been sold. Foton AUV are running monthly in Beijing, Jinan, Kunming, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Changsha, and they are starting demonstration operation in the US, Russia, Egypt, UK, Thailand and Poland.
