The First Fast-charging Electric City Bus Route in China Starts in Chongqing

www.chinabuses.org: On 22 April 2011, six Hengtong fast-charging electric city buses were formally operated in Chongqing. This is the first of such routes in Chongqing, even in China. The related leaders and principals visited the exhibition hall and production line.

 

They took Hengtong electric city bus in the various road conditions such as climbing, flat road and steep slope in urban area and specially learnt the indexes of battery type, recharging times and interior layout, fully appraising of the buses for steady performance, reliable power, good comforts and low noise.

 

The opening of this route marks the formal starting of fast-charging electric buses in operation, contributing to the promotion of electric city buses in China.
