The First Design of Annual Capacity 10000

At the location of NO 9, Meijiang North Street, Daoyi Xiandao District, China North (Shenyang) New Energy Manufacturing Base Shenyang Wuzhoulong New Energy Auto Co., Ltd, which firstly will invest 1.6 billion RMB, has an area of 150 thousand square meters and designs to produce 10 thousand hybrid buses yearly, is busily building the factory. Now, the joint production of this factory will come to the end and the factory is being decorated and the equipments are being purchased. In September 2011, the production line will be put into operation.
As Zhou Zhongfa, the General Manager of Shengyang Wuzhoulong New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd, introduced when the second phase of the project which invests 1.9 billion and has a factory area of 200 thousand is put into operation, the project will result in 15 billion output value which will become the biggest new energy bus manufacturing and research base in Southeast Asia.
Reporters learned that Shengyang “Energy-saving and New Energy Bus Demonstration and Promotion Pilot City Solution”, as the one of the second batch of “ Energy-saving and New energy Bus Promotion Pilot cities, has been smoothly approved by the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science, National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Shengyang City becomes one of the second batch pilot cities of the National Energy-saving and New Energy Bus Promotion. According the pilot city policy, the cities using the new energy bus will be subsidized by the government once with certain amount of money. In 2011, an exemplary operation of 240 Shengyang-made Wuzhoulong new energy buses was in operation and in 2012 360 buses will be put into operation.
One Charge could Run Three Days
The beginning of May, Zhou Zhongfa is always busy with two lines. One is promotion of the building of the factory and the other is busy with building the charging station. Shengyang will build 33 hybrid charging stations and every station is large enough to hold 22 buses. Also, more than 10 million of investment is needed for just one station.
Now, three newly built charging stations have erected in Beixing District, Dadong District and Yuhong District. As Zhou Zhongfa says they will rebuild the existing gas station, adding charging device. At present, the hybrid bus have two models- two rechargeable batteries model and plug-in model, but now the mature plug-in model is widely used. In addition, the public bus is normally charged during the night when the electric price is low, which could save money and the operation during the daytime is not affected.
How long does one charge last? The answer is: “2 to 3 hours could fully fill the battery, if you are in a hurry, you could use the fast charging mode which need only one hour. The full battery could travel for 380 km, equaling to 2 to 3 days.
More Than One Thousand New Energy Buses Serves for the National Games
In the University Games which will be held on August 12th, 2011 you will see, in Shengzhen, more than 80 Wuzhou pure electric buses. Zhou Zhongfa says, in the 13th National Games of 2013, thousands of Shengyan-made new energy buses carrying guests will travel to every arena. At the same time, the Shengyang-made new energy bus will demonstrate in the market of school bus and scheduled bus.
