Guangxi Nanning Will Buy 200 Air-conditioning Public Buses


www.chinabuses.org:The press conference of public transportation preferential development in Guangxi Autonomous Region, which has introduced the condition of the preferential development of the city public transportation, was held on May 9th, 2011. It is reported that Nanning, as the most congested city, will continuously develop the city public transportation, realizing the “one card solution” of public transportation, putting 200 new buses and installing monitoring system on 500 buses, which makes it more convenient and easier to take the public transportation.


Liaoning Shengyang Will Put 240 Hybrid Buses into Operation


www.chinabuses.org:Liaoning Shenyang City, as the one of the second batch “ pilot cities of energy saving and new energy buses promotion”, has proposed in the “ Solution of the Energy Saving and New Energy Bus Promotion Pilot City” that, by the end of this year, will firstly put 240 hybrid buses into operation.


Shanxi Taiyuan Will Put 600 More Public Buses into Operation


www.chinabuses.org:It is revealed by the government that Taiyuan City will speed up its buses purchasing. The estimated 600 new buses are hopefully could be put into operation during the “China Expo”. It is known that No 1 bus, which known as the “window” of the city, will be the first batch of buses that be replaced. There are three models of buses which are all 18 meters long to be chosen for the replacement of the No 1 bus. The principle of the Taiyuan Public Bus Company says: “ it is estimated that 0.1 billion RMB will be spent to purchase the public buses for the replacement of the No One Bus and other lines.


Hunan Changsha 20 Foton New Energy Buses are in Operation


www.chinabuses.org:Recently, 20 new energy buses have been put into operation for the replacement of the No 913 which becomes the first new energy public line. It is introduced that the fuel of these buses are all CNG (compact natural gas). The cost of this fuel will save 200 RMB per 100 km compared with the traditional diesel. Also, less noise, low consumption and low emission which makes it  quite comfortable.


Shangdong Binzhou Will Put 100 More New Energy Buses into Operation


www.chinabuses.org:Recently, the “Public Bus convenience Project” has been launched which has invested 0.1 billion RMB, two more gas stations will be built. In addition, 100 new energy buses will be put into operation, the electronic smart bus stop will be built and five new public bus lines will be done which extends to 12 bus lines, improving the covering of the city.
